Anthem Dental Insurance Coverage
At the Rocky Hill dentistry practice of Thaddeus S. Michalski, DMD, we are here to help patients maximize their dental

Our Rocky Hill dentist and team members are happy to process and file dental insurance claims for the majority of PPO plans. We are also in-network with many benefit plans, including Anthem insurance. YOUR ANTHEM BENEFIT PLAN
Dr. Michalski and his team work with Anthem dental insurance policies on a daily basis, and we are intimately familiar with the ins and outs of these complex benefit plans. In order to help our patients budget for their dental care, we will take the time to review their individual dental polices and provide accurate estimates of the out of pocket costs of your dentistry 
services. Every insurance policy represents a unique agreement between you, your employer, and Anthem, so two patients covered by Anthem insurance policies may have completely different coverage.
IN-NETWORK COVERAGE FOR ANTHEM INSURANCE PLANS
It’s important to understand that dental insurance plans cover a percentage of the cost of certain treatments. However, the percent they cover is not necessarily the fees your dentist charges. Anthem and other insurance providers make contracts with in-network dentists who agree to charge
discounted rates for their services, and the insurer covers a percentage of that fee for services. We are happy to offer in-network coverage for Anthem Dental Prime Plans level A, B, and C.

The easiest way to maximize the coverage from your Anthem dental insurance plan is to schedule regular preventive dentistry appointments with our Rocky Hill dentist and team. During your six month dental checkups, we examine your smile, screening for early warning signs of common oral health concerns like tooth decay, gum disease, oral cancer, and more. In many cases, we’re able to prevent dental health issues before they begin, and when that’s not possible, we offer early diagnosis and conservative restorations. How does this maximize your insurance coverage? Preventive maintenance and conservative restorations receive the highest percentages of dental insurance coverage, between 50 and 100% for most Anthem dental plans. That means you receive the greatest amount of insurance coverage and maintain your healthy smile.
